Toyota Celica – a heavenly car

The Celica name comes from the Latin word for heavenly – coelica. Since the release of the first model in 1970 an enormous number of drivers have experienced the heavenly experience of driving the four cylindered Toyota Celica.

The cars has been released in seven different models, but as is often the case with Japanese cars, there are differences between the models released for the Japanese, European ad American market. Thus the American model was powered by a number of different R Series engines. There has been a number of different design forks – the Toyota Supra being one of them.

At the time of this post we at Scalecar Garage have three different Minichamps models of the 1975 Toyota Celica in stock in red, black and silver, scale 1:43. As always we will try to expand our selection of Japanese model cars, as they become available form the different manufacturers.
